The church of St Mary’s and St Nicholas has been at the heart of the local community for centuries. Though its purpose has shifted throughout the years, its main embodiment of offering a place of sanctuary for the community has never altered.

In order to meet the demands of today, they needed a kitchen that could be a place of solace for their parishioners, their team, and their volunteers. They turned to Steelplan Kitchens to design and install a kitchen that would last.

As a Grade II* listed building, we had to pay special attention to the surroundings, and ensure the new kitchen installed did not cause any damage. They chose a grey and white finish on the cabinet doors – giving the room a neutral feel that is still warm and familiar to those who would use it.

The room is a large space, and they opted to have an island to bring more surface space for food and drink preparation. Notice how it has wheels; this allows them to move it about the kitchen, and the multiple shelves brings more storage space.
